Paradise & Wilderness is a Dutch-owned travel and hospitality group founded by Bert Schoonvelde, built from a deep love for Tanzania and Zanzibar. What began as a holiday turned into a life’s work—creating unforgettable journeys where wildlife, culture, and paradise meet.

We are safari experts and specialists in Zanzibar beach and culture holidays. All our lodgings, resorts, lodges, and safari camps are owned and managed by us. We also run our own fleet of safari vehicles, local guides, and even aviation services. That means consistency and quality you can rely on.
