Okuya Adventures is an Angolan destination management and adventure tourism company based in Luanda, specialising in the creation and operation of nature, cultural and expedition travel experiences across Angola. Founded more than 5 years ago, Okuya Adventures has been actively contributing to the positioning of Angola as an emerging tourism destination in Africa, promoting authentic experiences, responsible tourism practices and a genuine connection with local communities. The company develops and operates tailor-made journeys, small group expeditions and specialised itineraries in some of the country’s most remote and emblematic regions, including the Namibe Desert, Baía dos Tigres, Iona National Park, Kalandula Falls and the indigenous peoples of southern Angola who preserve their original cultural traditions. Okuya Adventures has represented Angola at major international tourism trade fairs, including FITUR in Madrid, ITB Berlin in partnership with Visit Angola, and Africa’s Travel Indaba, where it participated with its own stand in 2025 and 2026, actively reinforcing the international promotion of Angola as an emerging tourism destination in Africa. Over recent years, the company has also established strategic relationships with international tour operators, travel agents, specialised media and institutional partners, contributing to the growing visibility of Angola within international markets.
