The chefs at Lake Natron Camp have been cooking up a storm! Chef Axel Janssens, of Onsea House, has been at Lake Natron Camp on a collaborative training session.  By bringing the local environment to the table gives guests an authentic connection to the area and a real sense of community. Ake Lindstrom, MD, says “So grateful to be on this evolving journey to maximise local incomes and give our guests an authentic connection to the environment.” Local fresh produce from patch to plate!

We now have a dedicated website for our Footsteps of Man trek! www.footstepsofmantrek.com This is a trek back through millennia of evolution from the relatively recent hominid footprints right by our Lake Natron Camp, all the way to Olduvai, commonly known as “one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world”, and home to evidence of our earliest ancestors.

Lake Natron Camp is introducing a 2 night minimum stay policy, starting January 2020. With lots to do, and a long bumpy road to get to us, it's only right to stay for a minimum of 2 nights! For people that have already booked 1 night for 2020, don't worry you are able to keep the 1 night, but please advise clients that it is best to stay for 2 so they are able to get the full Natron experience.

We all know that fees can be annoying, and difficult to understand at times (especially with the changes to the gate fees) so we have created a page on our website to hopefully try and help! Lake Natron Camp is delighted to be back at KiliFair again this year!
