Overview

Home of the exclusive-use luxury safari experience in South Africa’s most celebrated wildlife area, the Sabi Sand, Cheetah Plains is the epitome of an innovative eco-luxury experience for the modern age. It is sustainable safari at its finest, and every element is personalized and private – creating once in a lifetime memories for both adults and children. There are three private villas to choose from – all located separately. Each villa is exquisitely appointed, and comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. The villas are surrounded by indigenous bushveld and lush gardens, and showcase contemporary art. The living space within the villas includes both a formal and entertainment lounge, living and dining room areas, expansive swimming pool deck with an outdoor lounge, outdoor boma for fireside and starlight dining, fine wine gallery and bar, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen. The four king-bedded guest suites include an open plan lounge, walk-in dressing room and dual vanity, full bathroom, separate WC and deck. All stays include twice-daily silent game drives in your own Land Cruiser Electric Safari Vehicle; wellness treatments by your dedicated in-suite spa therapist; guided bush walks; a full selection of South African fine wines, beers and spirits; all meals and menus; access to the fitness pavilion, hair studio and boutique; child minding services; and use of a Nikon D500 series camera and lenses.

Cheetah Plains Foundation - Lezagwa Utah Community

Website http://www.cheetahplains.com/trade-partners

Dedicated to uplifting the community and fostering local employment opportunities, Cheetah Plains proudly inaugurated the Lezagwa Utah Community Crèche in 2019.

This institution provides essential employment to dedicated teachers and assistants, nurturing the growth and development of over 60 children aged 6 months to 5 years. As it is the main learning centre for early childhood development in the region, we are deeply invested in its prosperity. We actively engage in fundraising efforts to support special projects and initiatives that enrich the lives and minds of little learners, with recent projects including a security gate, the purchase of a photocopy machine, water tanks to harness rain water and other educational materials.
