Overview

“Capture Africa” takes great pride in offering a mobile camping experience smothered in luxury and creature comforts! Our chosen campsites are all unique, private and within Botswana’s protected wildlife areas. For us it’s all about the complete experience, from morning wake-up call with the smell of freshly made coffee, to the sparkling game-viewing vehicle (not for long) and the wonderfully experienced professional guides. The tented accommodations are spacious and tastefully furnished with bathroom en suite. (Plumbed in toilets and hand basins on our Classic Luxury Safari.) Our open game-viewing vehicles are fully equipped for Botswana’s harsh terrain. 110/220/12 Volt charging systems are available whilst on game drive and in camp. All our laundry needs are taken care of daily and our professional kitchen staff produces meals fit for Kings and Queens! Special dietary and medical requirements do not phase us in the least. Being private tailor-made safaris we specialise in, children are very welcome. We cater to a minimum of 4 guests per trip, but have entertained over 40 guests on a single safari in the past! “Capture Africa” has set an extremely high standard of mobile safari in Botswana and plans to keep on raising the bar! Founded in 1997 by Brian & Hildrene Gibson, the company has remained a family owned and managed business for 20 years! This can certainly be appreciated by the small touches one finds on a Capture Africa Safari! Capture Africa was founded in 1997 by Brian & Hildrene Gibson and remains a family run mobile safari company. Specialising in private luxurious safaris within Botswana, this is the perfect add-on to the lodge to lodge safari. Capture Africa takes comfort in camping to a new level! Tracking – Getting kids involved and actually letting them tell the guide which way to go in order to find the subject. Great fun and feeling of involvement for the kids! Photographic classes – We work closely with 2 professional photographers, Hannes Lochner (SA) and Dave Scott (UK) who we hire if need be to teach amateur photographers how to use their kit. They can be booked as close as 3 months ahead of the safari. These are amazing photographers, who love working with Capture Africa. We also enjoy surprising our guests with special bush lunches or secret sundowners. We will often incorporate a birthday or anniversary with something special like this, even wine; gin or biltong tastings too. We know a lot of lodges do this, but very few mobiles make this effort.
