The Serengeti National Park is one of the most iconic wildlife destinations on earth, yet few travellers experience its wilderness on foot.

In this webinar, Richard Beatty, director of African Environments, will introduce the rare opportunity to explore the Serengeti through multi-day walking safaris in a remote wilderness area of the park.

Unlike vehicle-based safaris, walking allows guests to connect with the landscape at a deeper level - following wildlife tracks, learning about the intricate ecosystems of the plains, and experiencing the sights, sounds, and scale of the Serengeti in an entirely new way.

African Environments is one of three operators licensed to run multi-day walking safaris within the Serengeti National Park, offering exclusive access to a vast area where guests rarely encounter other vehicles or tourists.

During this session we will explore how these safaris work, what makes them so special, and why walking is becoming one of the most exciting ways to experience Tanzania’s wilderness.
