EcoTraining plays a unique and essential role within Africa’s tourism ecosystem—training the guides and conservation leaders who shape guest experiences, protect wilderness areas, and uphold the long‑term integrity of nature‑based travel.

This webinar introduces ATTA members to EcoTraining’s education-led approach and explores how it directly connects to tourism outcomes. We’ll share how EcoTraining works behind the scenes in the travel industry, supporting lodges, setting standards, advancing conservation efforts, and uplifting communities across Africa.

Designed for travel advisors, tour operators, and DMCs, this session will demonstrate how EcoTraining can be confidently promoted or included in travel portfolios as a standalone experience, a meaningful pre- or post-trip extension, or a value-add that deepens guests' understanding of nature, culture, and conservation.

Attendees will gain practical ideas on how education enhances itineraries, aligns with responsible tourism values, and helps meet growing traveller demand for purposeful, authentic experiences.
