Most Masai Mara camps sit outside the reserve. Ilora does not — and that single fact changes what your client’s morning looks like.
Ilora Retreats is a fourteen-suite camp in central Olkiombo, inside the Masai Mara National Reserve and just ten minutes from the main river crossing. No park gate transfers and no long drives to reach the game. Guests can be with wildlife at sunrise and back in camp for a slow breakfast.
This session is built for selling, not just admiring. We’ll give you the practical knowledge and talking points you need to confidently position Ilora with your clients.
We’ll cover where Ilora sits and why the central reserve behaves differently from areas near the gates; which clients the camp suits — from families and multigenerational groups to photographers and discerning first-timers; what’s included in a stay, from bush walks and star beds to a celestial observatory and resident photographer; how guests get there; and how the seasons affect both game viewing and rates.
We’ll also tackle the questions your clients are likely to ask — crowding, children, the Big Five, and whether anyone can honestly promise the migration — with answers you can use confidently in your own sales conversations.
Founder Alankar Chandra, a National Geographic award-winning wildlife photographer whose images make up Ilora’s collateral, will join the session for questions.
You’ll also get an introduction to Ilora Serengeti, opening at Seronera in 2027, giving partners the opportunity to offer a Kenya–Tanzania circuit across two exceptional locations within the ecosystem, through a single relationship.
Trade terms, rate sheets and familiarisation visits will also be covered. Bring your questions and leave better equipped to sell Ilora.
