Discover Ilora Retreats and gain practical insights into its location, guest experience and positioning for clients, alongside an introduction to Ilora Serengeti, opening in 2027.
Ilora Retreats is a fourteen-suite camp in central Olkiombo, within the Masai Mara National Reserve and approximately ten minutes from the main river crossing.
This session will provide travel professionals with practical information about the property and the experiences it offers. We’ll explore Ilora’s location within the reserve; the types of clients the camp may suit, including families, multigenerational groups, photographers and first-time safari travellers; what is included in a stay; access and logistics; and how different seasons can affect game viewing and rates.
The session will also address common client questions around the safari experience, including wildlife viewing, travelling with children, the Big Five and the seasonal nature of the migration.
Founder Alankar Chandra, a National Geographic award-winning wildlife photographer whose images make up Ilora’s collateral, will join the session for questions.
We’ll also introduce Ilora Serengeti, due to open at Seronera in 2027, and explore how the two properties can form part of a wider Kenya–Tanzania itinerary.
Trade terms, rate sheets and familiarisation opportunities will also be covered, with time for questions from attendees.
