MEMBERS ONLY TRAINING: Travel Risk and Safety Management Post COVID-19

Location:
This is an online only event/webinar
Date:
February 15th 2022

Drawing on over 62 years of experience in the travel industry, Colin McGregor (tranquilico) and David Atkin (Sanderson Phillips) will discuss how organisations involved in the provision of travel services can ensure their customers and employees are safe in a post-COVID world.

Communicable diseases aside, there are numerous other risks to consider, meaning it has never been more important to focus on risk management both within your own organisation and through your supply chains.

UK tour operators and travel organisers have a legal responsibility to ensure they have taken ‘all reasonable skill and care’ to determine if their supply chains are safe for their customers. This responsibility is increasingly being shared with other companies in the chain – DMCs and inbound operators, bed banks etc. Everyone involved in the delivery of travel services has a moral responsibility for safety, which has been highlighted by the pandemic.

Colin and David will cover safety management systems, supplier auditing, the main topics of safety for accommodation providers, transportation, and activities & excursions suppliers to consider and how having an emergency plan with crisis management training for your teams is essential.
