German Travel Advisory on Kenya

After President Uhuru Kenyatta's visit to Germany earlier this month accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary of Tourism Najib Balala where they met Angela Merkel and and also held meetings with the top tour operators. Among other things they reassured the leaders and the market on the destination and the numerous security measures that have been put in place.

Subsequently there has now been a positive change to the German Advisory and the negative mention on the areas of Kilifi and Malindi have now been removed and this should re-open business into these areas from the German tour operators. This will be further boosted by the charter incentives, park fee reductions and  the child visa fee waiver that are currently in place to boost tourism to Kenya.
