New Kilimanjaro - Entebbe Connection
Fastjet has launched two new routes to connect Kilimanjaro with two popular destinations - Mwanza and Entebbe, Uganda.
Fastjet will serve Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) with three flights per week - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to Entebbe, Uganda, while the Mwanza route from Kilimanjaro will be served with four flights per week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The airline plans to serve passengers from the north of Tanzania heading to Mwanza in the Tanzania’s Lake Zone and Entebbe, Uganda, and other destinations across the world.
The launch of flights from Kilimanjaro to Entebbe makes it easier for hundreds of officials who travel to Arusha all year round to attend meetings at the East African Community headquarters in Arusha.
Other travellers who will benefit are those from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi who are expected to fly to Kilimanjaro via Entebbe.
