This Week at Atta HQ

Good Morning Atta!

As Coranda mentioned in the previous newsletter, last week Nigel was invited by The Chief of Naval Staff & First Sea Lord, Sir George Zambellas, who was educated at Shabani School in Southern Rhodesia now Zimbabwe, to the naming ceremony of the Royal Navy’s largest ever warship the aircraft carrier H.M.S Queen Elizabeth by Her Majesty The Queen.  Nigel is seen here presenting, to the current and the former First Sea Lord, the original brass plaque from the Dreadnought Battleship H.M.S Queen Elizabeth the flagship of his grandfather Sir Charles Madden who was Chief of Staff at the Battle of Jutland in 1916 and later promoted First Sea Lord and Admiral of the Fleet.

I have also had an exciting week attending Africa Showcase roadshows in Dublin and London with On Show Solutions and Atta members SAA, Airlink, Saruni, Three Cities Group, Let’s Go Travel Uganda and Zambia Tourism Board. I have met many agents and operators selling Africa, introduced Atta and invited them to join our members’ webinars.

My webinar database has substantially increased over the last year and you are welcome to use the fruits of it! Yesterday’s webinar on Botswana with Footsteps in Africa had 109 travel industry contacts registered to exclusively watch their presentation!

The webinar schedule is filling up quickly for the summer months. Book your date now as the price will go up October 1st.

This week Coranda has confirmed our participation at Indaba 2015. Even though we have just recovered from a busy exhibitions calendar, we have to start thinking about it all over again!

My best wishes, Lina
