The Swaziland Tourism Authority offers to win a 10-day holiday to the country

The Swaziland Tourism Authority (STA) has partnered with leading international travel/tourism stakeholders to bring two lucky tourists to the country for a 10-day holiday worth over E850 000.

The competition is in collaboration with the United Kingdom’s leading travel magazine, Wanderlust; South African Airways (SAA); and Swaziland travel specialist.

“As Swaziland welcomes the start of a new year, set to be one of its best for tourism, we’ve decided to give away one of our biggest prizes yet! “Yes – you guessed it, in collaboration with the UK’s leading travel magazine Wanderlust, South African Airways and Swaziland specialist, the Swaziland Tourism Authority will be sending two lucky people away to Africa’s smallest hidden gem,” states Wanderlust on the STA’s official website.

The magazine further states that the prize; a 10-day trip to Swaziland includes all flights between the UK and Swaziland as well as transfers and accommodation – a package worth around £5 000 (about E850 000).

The country is described as one of Africa’s last remaining monarchies, bursting with tradition. Tourists are invited to witness vigorous sibhaca dancing at Mantenga Cultural Village as well safari options and other interesting tourist activities at the country’s various game and nature reserves as well as other facilities. In short, Swaziland punches well above its weight, the magazine states. “It’s a revelation,” confirms Nick Boulos, regular Wanderlust contributor and the British Travel Press Awards’ Travel Writer of the Year, who recently visited Swaziland.  “Not only are the potential wildlife encounters extraordinary, but the people are just as wonderful.”
