The Namibian government has recently announced their intention to trial the re-opening of our borders for international tourism between 15 July and 15 August, albeit on a limited basis. Enforced temporary change to the Ultimate Namibia Safari
Happy New Year! Unfortunately, the onset of much needed rain in Namibia has caused some damage at Tree Tops Camp at Onguma as one of the rooms was struck by lightning and effectively destroyed towards the end of last year. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the damage caused means that Onguma Tree Tops is currently one room short.

Introducing The Nest @ Sossus
Ultimate Safaris are delighted to announce the opening of The Nest @ Sossus, the private Villa located on the private Namib Tsaris Conservancy near Sossusvlei. The Nest @ Sossus was designed using the unique structure of a Sociable Weaver nest as inspiration. It took eight years, including a three-year build, to bring this project to fruition and this has resulted in one of Namibia’s most extraordinary private villas in terms of both design and décor. The Nest was designed by Porky Hefer, created by Swen Bachran, and decorated by Maybe Corpaci.
