Zimbabwe
Climate
Zimbabwe enjoys a temperate climate with 10 hours of sunshine hours per day on average. The seasons are the reverse of those in the northern hemisphere, with midsummer at Christmas and winter lasting from May to July. It is considerably warmer all year round in low-lying areas such as Kariba, Victoria Falls, Hwange, Gonarezhou and the Zambezi valley.
Temperatures
Daily temperatures reach c.42°C in Oct & Nov. May, June & July experience very cold mornings & evenings with daytime temperatures of c.14°C
Dry Season
The winter months of mid April - mid August are dry and cool. Mid August - mid October is dry but increasingly hotter.
Wet Season
January, February & March is the rainy season with shorter, heavy showers start in November., bringing much relief from the hot temperatures.

Pre-Departure Requirements
- Fully vaccinated travellers no longer require a PCR test
- Un-vaccinated travellers entering Zimbabwe must possess a -ve COVID-19 PCR test result, issued no more than 48 hrs before departure to Zimbabwe. Without this, you will be denied entry.
- Children below the age of 12 do not need a -ve COVID-19 PCR test (even if not vaccinated)
- Travellers above the age of 12, who are NOT fully vaccinated, are required to present a valid -ve PCR test taken not more than 48 hours before departure.
On Arrival
- Presentation of full COVID-19 Vax approved by WHO, or -ve PCR certificate as outlined
- All travellers must complete a track and trace document.
- Children below the age of 12 do not need a -ve COVID-19 PCR test (even if not vaccinated)
- Travellers above the age of 12, who are NOT fully vaccinated, are required to present a valid -ve PCR test taken not more than 48 hours before departure.
- All travellers will be subject to a temperature check
Arrival by Road
- All guests 18yrs + arriving through Kazungula and Vic Falls border posts must have proof of vaccination or a negative PCR Test no older than 48hrs.
- If families are travelling with children under 18, the children should follow the rules of fully vaccinated travellers (children below 12 years of age do not require a PCR certificate).
