Kamageo is delighted to announce the appointment of REBECCA KERRY to the position of Marketing Manager. Rebecca, who achieved a first-class honours degree in Marketing, Advertising & PR, has worked for both Unilever and Nike prior to joining to work on Uganda Tourism, as well as Ker & Downey Botswana. Rebecca, who is yet to visit Africa, will be touring both Uganda and Botswana in the coming weeks. She added “I've worked on major brands with both B2C and B2B marketing requirements. Now, I can’t wait to work with the UK safari industry to promote some amazing destinations and experiences”.

She will be joined by KRISTINA HARLOW, who moves from the English Wine Producers Association, to become Marketing Assistant. Kristina achievd a first in her Tourism Management degreee and is delighted to be putting her outstanding academic achievements to use in the travel industry. Amongst her responsibilities will be Marifa (Kamageo's annual research programme) and the Safari Roadshow.

Tim Henshall, Kamageo’s CEO stated, “Both Rebecca and Kristina have excellent degrees and have great hands-on marketing experience. This keeps Kamageo at the forefront of tourism marketing in the UK. They may be new to Africa tourism, but I sense they will both make their mark very quickly!”

Sadly, December also saw the departure of KIRSTINE VERCOE from her role as Marketing Director. Kirstine is a consummate professional and the respect with which she is held in the industry is matched only by her experience and expertise. She will be a huge loss to Kamageo, but we wish her every success in whatever she does next and the door remains wide open for her to return in the future.
