Latest British Airways app improvements

The British Airways app has now become even better with the introduction of multiple boarding passes and a new iPad version.

Multiple boarding passes:

Boarding British Airways flights has just got easier for families and friends travelling together thanks to the introduction of multiple mobile boarding passes.

Previously, each person had to each carry their own smartphone to show their mobile boarding pass to go through security or board a flight. But now up to eight individual mobile boarding passes can be viewed on one phone, providing everyone travelling together is on the same booking reference.

Multiple boarding passes are now available for iPhone and Android devices and from the following departure airports: Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Basel, Belfast, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Geneva, Glasgow, Jersey, Leeds, London City, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Manchester, Vienna, Zurich. They will be available from more airports over the coming weeks.

Bookings which include an infant passenger cannot currently use multiple boarding passes.

New iPad version:

British Airways has now also introduced an iPad version of its popular travel app. It now allows customers to use their iPad to easily:

· Book a flight

· View our cheapest fares

· Use a 3D globe to see our destinations

· View upcoming flights

· View in-flight entertainment for their flight, and create a timeline plan of what to watch on board (timeline only available for iPhones)

· Download a boarding pass

· View their Executive Club account, Avios, Tier points and recent transactions

· Track flight status
