Roving Bushtops opens for business in the central Serengeti
By Bushtops Camps
We are thrilled to announce that Roving Bushtops – our third camp has welcomed its first guests.
A gem on a jewel!
Situated within the Seronera area not far from the Moru Kopje (often called the jewel in the crown of the Serengeti), Roving Bushtops introduces a new concept in Wild Luxury safaris. Guests stay in six superbly-specified rooms on wheels. We designed and patented this innovative concept of 5-star fold-down mobile tents, each of which features king-size beds, 24 hour power and en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilet, bath, vanity basins and showers. During the day, tent walls can be opened on three sides, enabling panoramic views of the surrounding bush.
As the name implies, Roving Bushtops has been designed to move, though we think we’ve already found a stunning base: the rich open savannah of the Seronera valley is a wonderful area for game viewing, with year-round wildlife. It is also a prime location on the migration route.
Roving Bushtops extends the reputation of its sister camps (Mara Bushtops in Kenya and Serengeti Bushtops in Tanzania) for superb accommodation, haute cuisine and fine wines, plus the highest standards of game viewing – all delivered in the heart of the Bush. www.bushtopscamps.com
