Sleep-out deck at Elephant’s Eye, Hwange
By HideawaysStarted on the 1st of June 2015, guests staying for four nights or more can choose to spend one of those on our wooden deck overlooking a busy waterhole. Our sleep-out deck features a large mosquito net covered bed on an elevated platform which offers the most romantic escape in the African bush.
This is a unique opportunity to witness animals’ behaviour during the night and have the chance to maybe observe some nocturnal animals such as owls, hyena and more. You will have your own private moonlit waterhole and fall asleep to the magical sounds of the African night.
Guests can be assured to be woken by the soft noises of elephants walking among the mopane forest and their rumbling stomachs. An experience not to be missed.
