SATIB expands into East Africa
Atta Insurance and Crisis Management advisors SATIB Insurance Brokers are opening six new branches in East Africa, effective April 1.
André du Toit, Director of SATIB, told that new branches would cover Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. “There will be a SATIB flag in Mombasa, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Kampala and Kigali,” he said.
According to Du Toit, SATIB has had correspondent relationships with local brokers in East Africa for about 20 years now as it is required from a regulatory point of view, but now these relationships have been more formalised. The SATIB branches in each of those territories will be operated in partnership with Liaison Brokers.
