By Robin Pope SafarisNational Geographic Traveler magazine has recently announced that Robin Pope Safaris' Mobile Walking Safari experience as a 2015 Tour of a Lifetime. In its 10th annual list National Geographic Traveler selected 50 of the world’s “most authentic, most innovative, most immersive, best-guided, and most sustainable tours.” More details can be viewed in National Geographic Traveler magazine’s May 2015 issue and online at http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/tours/.
We are extremely delighted with this especially as we are this year celebrating the 25th anniversary of this innovative and immersive safari. Robin Pope Safaris is grateful for the passionate members of staff creating these rich and unforgettable experiences as well as all our valued agents and clients for the continued support through the years.
“This year marks 10 years of our editors selecting the world’s best guided tours,” said Norie Quintos, acting editor in chief of National Geographic Traveler. “In that time the types of immersive and experiential trips have only multiplied; tours are going farther and deeper than ever before. The trips and operators we selected are a model for the rest of the travel industry: They open the world to travelers and at the same time leave a positive impact on the destinations and its people.”
A timely celebration we are elated about!
