Wetland Park Group launch Wildlife and Conservation Course for families

Tapping into over a decade of experience with school and college students, The Wetland Park Group now offers families an adapted version of their Environmental Awareness Course. This life changing, one week course is ideal for those budding botanists, butterfly-catchers, big-hearted animal lovers and families hooked on wildlife documentaries and passionate about the natural world. The course includes tracking, orientation, bush survival skills, anti-poaching tactics, ‘big 5’ game drives, dissection, rural village excursions, cheetah, elephant and crocodile encounters and a whole lot of fun.

Families are based at Umkhumbi Lodge, located in the game rich Hluhluwe-Imfolozi area of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Umkhumbi is surrounded by wildlife reserves, endless sandy beaches and the richly varied ecosystems of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO world heritage site.
