Southern Cross Safaris partners with Severin Air Safaris
Southern Cross Safaris one of East Africa’s leading DMC’s, with offices in Mombasa & Nairobi, Kenya, is thrilled to partner with Kenya’s first luxury flying safari operator - Severin Air Safaris.
Incorporating the prestigious ‘Out of Africa Collection’ portfolio of luxury camps & lodges this is the very first ,unique ,all inclusive, professionally guided luxury flying safari product available in Kenya.
Having operated for over fifty years, the company handles thousands of clients annually between private, custom safaris, air safaris, scheduled road and air safaris as well as incentive groups.
Southern Cross Safaris with Severin Air Safaris has launched the first-ever luxury, guided scheduled flying safaris in Kenya. Utilizing a private eight-seat C208 Cessna aircraft, these scheduled safaris now offer safari operators the ability to book seats for their clients without needing to charter the entire aircraft. This new Severin Air Safari ushers in a new era of luxury safari in Kenya, the destination that nearly 100 years ago launched the African wildlife safari as we know it today.
The’ Out of Africa ‘ seven-night safari, starting from either Nairobi or Mombasa, departs on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Cessna aircraft itself sets the tone for a luxury adventure in Africa, featuring just 8 leather reclining and fully revolving seats, fully air conditioned plane, individual headsets with microphone for each seat and the latest G1000 navigation system including 3D terrain management system and full colour digital weather radar. An experienced bush pilot accompanies the safari alongside a professional Silver-level KPSGA certified safari guide who travels on board with clients throughout the safari.
While on the ground, all game drives are conducted in luxury 4x4 Land Cruisers.
“Our mantra is ‘to make your journey as exceptional as the destination’ and this new luxury flying safari offers that in spades,” says Simon Ball, Director of Marketing for Severin Air Safaris. “Our ‘Out of Africa’ one week safari in Kenya offers something different to any other air safari in Kenya as our guests have the opportunity to see amazing sights flying low over the extensive Kenya savannah and observing the wildlife below as the professional safari guide ensures every detail is pointed out. Tsavo East is particularly spectacular, with the highest concentration of elephants anywhere in the world!”
The seven-night ‘Out of Africa’ safari includes two nights at the Karen Blixen camp in the Maasai Mara, located in a private concession right on a stunning bend of the Mara river, 2 nights at the Satao Elerai Luxury Tented Lodge in Amboseli National Park, featuring a pool with breathtaking views of the iconic Mt. Kilimanjaro, one night at the Severin Safari camp in Tsavo West, known for it’s African Spa, and 2 nights at Satao Camp in Tsavo West in a secluded area of the park with it’s own waterhole where elephant and lion are prolific. At each touch down on the airstrip, travellers will find canapés, cold drinks and a much welcome cold pressed face towel waiting for them.
This luxury safari is priced, all inclusive 8 days, from US$5,145 per person. For more information please visit http://www.severinairsafaris.com or contact Simon Ball at firstname.lastname@example.org
