Duba Plains and Selinda Camps at a steal
By Great Plains ConservationGreat Plains Conservation camps of Selinda and Duba Plains camps, in a partnership with Wilderness Safaris and Sanctuary Retreats in an offer called the Six Countries Summer Special, are available to guests at an incredibly good value of a recommended selling price of USD360 per person per night from 1st November 2011 to 15th April 2012 (excludes 20 December to 6 January and 6-9 April inclusive). Duba Plains is the setting of wildlife filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert's iconic Relentless Enemies and The Last Lions, and one of the best places in Africa to see lions active during daylight hours. In addition at this time of year the birdlife and general game is fantastic and the Okavango beautifully green and abuzz with activity. The Selinda Reserve is also thriving with game and especially during this summer months it is the time of new-born antelope and other species taking advantage of nature's bounty. Selinda Camp guests can experience day and night game drives, guided walks, boating and canoeing. There is also a new sleep out deck, some 5 minutes away from camp by boat, which is in a stunning location overlooking the Selinda Spillway and romantically lit up with lanterns at night.
