Another day at the office at Porini Amboseli Camp

When Porini first opened at Selenkay Conservancy, elephants had not been seen in the area for 20 years and were confined to the park. Now they move between Amboseli Park and Selenkay Conservancy and this bull walked through camp early yesterday morning!  Possibly to see that the mess tent and guest areas have been beautifully refurbished to reflect the wildness and simplicity of the camp. Guests can relax with a book on the swinging seat under the shade of the nearest acacia tree.  The last three guest tents have also been replaced which means that nine smart new tents now await our guests.  We have new images available on our website:
